เพิ่งดูรายการ Beyond tomorrow มาหมาดๆ เค้าพูดถึง”ห้องสมุดแห่งซีแอ๊ทเทิล“หรือ”Seattle Public Library” นั้นแหละ ที่จริงเคยรู้ข่าวคราวของห้องสมุดนี้มาบ้างแล้วว่าเป็นห้องสมุดที่นำเทคโนโลยีต่างๆ เช่น RFID ระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติ มาใช้เป็นที่แรกๆ แต่ที่เด่นคือ ระบบอาคารอัจฉริยะที่มีลักษณะคล้ายลานจอดรถ บนห้างซึ่งจะทำให้เราไม่ต้องเดินขึ้นลงแต่ละชั้นของห้อง แต่จะเดินวนขึ้นไปเรื่อยๆ และระบบคืนหนังสือที่มีความสะดวกยิ่งขึ้น (อาจนึกภาพไม่ออกดูรูปประกอบแล้วกันนะครับ) แต่ที่นึกอยากเขียนเรื่องนี้เพราะรู้สึกดีใจที่มีคนเห็นความสำคัญของห้องสมุดมากขึ้น เห็นด้วยหรือป่าวครับ

You are hotlinking our photos – and we don’t like it!!!
The issue is not that you pick one or two of our photos and host them yourself and *make a link to us*, this is okay with us – the issue is that you are hotlinking to our server.
We have approx. 15.000 photos on our site and when people do, as you did, hotlinks our material, we have to pay our ISP for each photo downloaded to other sites. Looking at it like this, from our point of view. We hope that you can appreciate the matter in a new perspective.
